Learning Not To Love But Not To Hate

It is hard to be the person you are not but it is worth everything in the world to be that person for your loved ones.
You fail and disappointment will overwhelm their hearts,
Guilt will thicken in your soul,
Regret will be forever in your heart.

To understand the feelings of others,
is a mystery,
yet to be resolved.

Everyone wears a mask in front of others,
the mask as,
an adaptation of interaction,
a presentation of oneself,
the beauty of lovers,
the smile of friendship,
the frowns of hatred,
a facade,
nay, a pleasant front,
a deceit,
nay, the truth,
a lie,
nay, the order of life,
You decide.


When someone sees the same person every day,
as had happened with him at the seminary,
they wind up becoming a part of that person's life.
And then they want the person to change.
If someone isn't what others want them to be,
the others become angry.
Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives,
but none about his or her own.
